β Issue/Question
- The AI is not tagging a player in my recent uploads
Β
π Resolution/Answer
-
Check the player's headshot
- Go to
Configure>Team & Players>Playersand search for the player - Open the player profile and review the headshot
- The headshot must be clear, well-lit, and show only the player's face and shoulders
- If the headshot doesn't meet the criteria, upload a new one that does. This is the most common cause
- Go to
-
Review the player's AI recognition settings
- The playerβs recognized name must exactly match the name on their jersey
-
Check the quality of the untagged media
- Open the media that should have been tagged
- The player's face or jersey name must be clearly visible
- If the media is blurry or low-resolution, or the player is too small or hidden in the frame, the AI can't recognize them. There's no platform fix when the content quality is the limit
-
Check whether the player is wearing sunglasses
- Open the media that should have been tagged
- The AI can't recognize a face behind sunglasses. This is a known limitation, and uploading the media again won't change the result
-
Check when the player was created
- The AI only recognizes players in media uploaded after their profile was created. It doesn't tag existing media
- If the player was added after the media was uploaded, upload the media again so the AI can process it
-
Recreate the player profile
- If none of the above solved it, delete the player profile and create a new one
- Upload the affected media again once the new profile is created
- If the AI still isn't tagging the player, or you need the player tagged in collections created before their profile, reach out to the ScorePlay Support team via Live Chat
