❓ Issue/Question

• A rule that works for one partner does not return the same media when used for another partner
• Media that clearly match the rule are not shown
• Sponsor rules are not working despite being configured correctly

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Go through the general checks first
  • User can't see media
• Check whether the external group uses both the Rules and the Access tabs
  • How to manage the external groups?
• If it does, use only one of them. Rules is preferred, when it's enabled

🥚 Cause

• When tag restrictions are set in both the Access and the Rules tabs, both apply at the same time (AND condition). This limits the matching media a lot
• Keep the Access tab empty when you use Rules
