❓ Issue/Question
- How do I check if the file/ media has limited accessibility based on the account type?
👌 Resolution/Answer
In ScorePlay, individual media items can be shared with specific account types. If users with a given account type can't see a media item, it may be because that account type is not in the media's access list.
How to check
- Open the media.
- Click on the
Lockbutton on the right side - Use the
Manage accessdropdown to see which account types currently have access.

-
The account type is checked → users with that account type have access to the media.
- If a user with that account type cannot see the media, you can refer to the User can't see media article for further troubleshooting. The most common next checks are tag restrictions and private/locked state.
-
The account type is unchecked → users with that account type cannot see the media.
- To grant access: select the missing account type(s) from the dropdown to add them, then save your changes.
🔖 Notes
- How do I verify and update which account types have access to media or collections?
- Newly created account type won't automatically get access to media already existing on the platform.
- For more information check When a new account type is created, it doesn’t have access to previously uploaded media.
