How to create new users via a Sign-up Link?

• How do I invite new internal users to ScorePlay?

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Go to Configure > Users

• Set up the user type
  • Click New at the top right
  • Use the User type dropdown to pick the role with the permissions the users need
• Set the validation options
  • Turn on Requires validation if their uploads must be approved before they are published to the Media library
  • Turn on Validator if they can approve uploads from others
• Set the media access
  • Turn on Access only manually shared media if the users should only see media shared with them
  • If it's off, you can add tags to set which media they can access
    • Tag access: limits them to specific tags
    • Exclude tags: blocks media with certain tags
    • Leave both empty to give access to all media allowed by their role
• Create the sign-up link
  • Click Generate signup link. Users fill in their own details through the link
  • Turn on Requires validation from admin if accounts created through the link need admin approval
  • Turn on Add days to expire to set how many days the link stays valid
  • Click Copy link and share it with the users
