How to add a new user to an External Group via a Sign-up Link?

In order for you to create new users on your platform, the Users > Can create permission should be enabled on your account. 

If you don't see it, reach out to your admin or refer to the Account Type Permissions Overview article for more information.

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Click Distribution > External groups
  • Use the search bar to locate the specific external group you want to configure, or browse through the list

 

  • Open the external group 
  • Go to the Users tab
  • Click the Sign-up link button in the upper-right corner
  • Toggle on Requires validation from admin if accounts created through the link need admin approval before activation
  • Toggle on Add days to expire to set how many days the link remains valid
  • Click Copy link to copy the sign-up link to your clipboard
  • Share the link with the new users
