Editing the Labels setup on the platform

In order for you to view and/or edit your label settings, the Taxonomy & labels  > Can view page permission should be enabled. 


If you don't see it, reach out to your admin or refer to the Account Type Permissions Overview article for more information.

 

 

❓ Issue/Question

  • How do I edit my label settings?
  • How do I change the account types that can access my labels?

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Go to Configure > Taxonomy > Labels tab
  • Click the Edit button (right side) next to the label you’d like to modify
  • Modify your label settings to match your preferred settings
    • First Associated permissions dropdown controls which account types will have access to media with the label
    • Second Available to X accounts dropdown controls which account types will be able to apply this label upon upload
  • Click Update

 

🔖 Notes 

  • When you update a label’s permission settings, the changes only apply to media assigned to that label going forward. Previously labeled media won’t automatically inherit the new permissions. To apply the updated label settings, you will have to reapply the label to old media.
