❓ Issue/Question

  • What are Labels?
  • Where can I find label settings?
  • What are the most common types of labels?

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Labels are permission sets attached to media assets that control who can access specific content based on user types.
  • They appear visibly on thumbnails and provide an additional layer of digital rights management beyond basic organization.
  • Common label types include:
    1. Approved - Content that's cleared for broad distribution to everyone on ScorePlay, including athletes, sponsors, and all platform users.
    2. Limited Use - Content with usage restrictions that should only be visible to staff who understand these limitations. This often includes raw or unapproved content.
    3. Admin Only - Content restricted to administrative users only.
    4. Content Team - Content that requires review or approval before wider distribution.
    5. Raw - Unedited, in-progress, or sensitive content that should only be available to specific teams.

🔖 Notes

  • The Label feature must be enabled on your platform to add labels to media. If you’d like to enable the Label feature, please reach out to your CSM for more details.
