❓ Issue/Question
- We should be seeing this file pull into ScorePlay however, the agent doesnt appear to be picking it up as a new file even though its a new file CLEAN_MANUTD_A_WOMEN_230826_11MIN.mxf
- Files have been copied into a watch folder on local storage, but they don't appear in ScorePlay. There's no error message, and no failed task appears on the agent page — the ingest simply never starts.
👌 Resolution/Answer
- Reboot the machine running the agent
- Before rebooting, two quick checks:
- Confirm the file is in the exact watched path: a file exported to a different location and copied afterwards is easy to place one folder off
- Drop a small test file: an image is fine — into the same watch folder. If that also fails to arrive, the problem is the agent rather than the specific file or format, and a reboot is the right next step
🔖 Notes
- This is the fastest resolution and resolves the majority of cases. When the agent host becomes unresponsive, it stops queuing ingest work silently — no error is raised, so nothing appears to be wrong beyond the missing files
- After the reboot, pending files in the watch folder are picked up automatically within a few minutes, and new drops resume working normally
- File is not ingested via the Agent
