User cannot see the media due to browser cache memory problem

❓ Issue/Question

  • I'm unable to access the collection, getting a blank page
  • When I try to access the platform, the web doesn't load
  • I don't see any material in the collection, but I can see it in the media library 
  • When I access the platform using the incognito mode I can see all the sub-collections, with the normal browser page I cannot.

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Try the platform in Incognito mode to rule out browser extensions and cached data.
  • Clear the browser cache:
    • In Chrome: SettingsPrivacy and securityClear browsing data → select "Cached images and files" → Clear data).
  • Reload the platform.

 

🥚 Cause

  • A stale browser cache can prevent the platform from loading the media in the collection.
