- Hi Team for the stream Day 1 - Opening, the stream has many pixelations, artifacts.
👌 Resolution/Answer
- Visual artefacts and pixelation occur when video data is lost or already degraded somewhere along the ingest path. There are three points where this can happen:
- The feed already contains the artefacts when it reaches us. The video was degraded at source or by the encoder before being sent. In these cases the recording stored on our side shows the same artefacts as the live view, which confirms the issue originated upstream of ScorePlay.
- SRT packets are lost between your encoder and our SRT server. This is a network issue on the path between you and us.
- A capacity issue between SRT server and our transcoding service.
- If you've ruled out the causes on your side, please reach out to the ScorePlay support team via the Live Chat. To help us investigate, include the timestamps where the artefacts appear and, if available, your encoder's SRT statistics for that session.
