Live stream is not working

❓ Issue/Question

  • Our live stream is not starting.
  • The stream is stuck in Preparing.

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Go to Live > Schedule
  • Click the button next to the schedule and select Mark as done
    • Use the Date filter for easier navigation
  • Click the button again and select Duplicate
  • Set the start time of the new schedule to at least 5 minutes from the current time
  • Click Create
  • Go to the Streams tab and check whether the stream transitions to “Live” once the signal is pushed.

 

  • If the new stream does not go live:
    • Repeat the previous steps, but use a different receiver.
    • Go to the PUSH Receiver tab and click the Copy icon next to the receiver you're using 
    • Share the new receiver endpoint with your broadcaster/encoder and have them re-push the signal.
