How do I schedule a live event in ScorePlay?

In order for you to schedule a live stream on ScorePlay, the Live > Can schedule in stream permission should be enabled on your account.

If you don't see it, reach out to your admin or refer to the Account Type Permissions Overview article for more information.

👌 Resolution/Answer

Go to Live
Click the Schedule tab
Click New schedule at the top right corner

Select your Live Ingest method by selecting the Push or Pull tab

Fill out the required information to schedule your stream

For PUSH Schedules

Select Receiver
Input Ingest Name
Input Start date and time
- Make sure to set the “Start date” time ahead of the current time; otherwise, it won’t start.
Input End date and time
Specify the Collection
Add tags (Optional)
Live Ingest Preset (select one if needed)

For PULL Schedules

When creating schedules with PULL method, after selecting on the PULL tab, you will be presented with 2 sub-tabs (Receiver and Manual URL)

Receiver

Clicking the Receiver tab will allow you choose a Pull receiver.

You will also see the + that allows you to create a new Pull receiver

After you have specified your Pull receiver, you would also need to complete the following fields:

Input Ingest Name
Input Start date and time
- Make sure to set the “Start date” time ahead of the current time; otherwise, it won’t start.
Input End date and time
Specify the Collection
Add tags (Optional)
Live Ingest Preset (select one if needed)

Manual URL

Clicking the Pull tab will allow you to manually input your SRT/RTMP destination

After you have specified your SRT/RTMP destination, you would also need to complete the following fields:

Input Ingest Name
Input Start date and time
- Make sure to set the “Start date” time ahead of the current time; otherwise, it won’t start.
Input End date and time
Specify the Collection
Add tags (Optional)
Live Ingest Preset (select one if needed)

Click Create
