In order for you to duplicate an external group, the External Groups > Can create permission should be enabled on your account.

- How can I create a new external group with the same media shared with another group?
👌 Resolution/Answer
- Go to
Configure>Distribution - Select
External Groups - Locate the External Group you would like to duplicate
- Click on the
…(3 dots) option - Select
Duplicate
🔖 Notes
- Once you duplicate the external Group, the name by default will be: “Duplicate of NAME_OF_ORIGINAL_GROUP”. However, this can be edited afterward, along with any configuration that you need to modify, as the new group is independent from the group we used as base.
- When you duplicate an External Group, you’ll be duplicating everything in the configuration, such as tag rules (except for the ones generated automatically with the name of the external group and users)
