Changing individual tag restrictions for an external group user

❓ Issue/Question

• I am trying to help a broadcaster who is unable to access any content.
• The external group had tag X and Y in the Restrict Access section, but I removed it for this user specifically. Why isn't it working?

👌 Resolution/Answer

• When permissions or rules are configured at the external group level, they are always applied to members of that group. Any rules configured directly on the portal are added on top of the existing external group permissions, but removing the rules from individual tag access won't overwrite the external group access.
• This means that for an individual user of an external group you can only expand the tag access (by adding more tags), but not restrict it.
