❓ Issue/Question

  • Sponsor is not recognized by the AI, resulting in media related to sponsor(s) not being tagged.
  • A sponsor is not tagged

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Confirm AI tagging is enabled for the sponsor
    • Go to Distribution > External Groups and locate the relevant external group
    • Open the Settings tab and make sure the Run AI toggle is turned on

 

  • Confirm the setup of the sponsor's name to be recognized
    • Open the sponsor's settings and check the Name to recognize field
    • Remove all numbers — digits in this field cause tagging failures and false positives
    • Remove any special characters
    • For multi-part names: pick one main word from the sponsor name to be recognized 

 

  • Check sponsor text visibility in the untagged media
    • Confirm the sponsor's name or logo text is clear and legible in the affected content
    • Make sure the text is fully visible and not cropped or cut off at the edges

 

  • Test with a re-upload
    • Download an untagged photo from the affected collection that clearly shows the sponsor
    • Re-upload it to the same collection and check whether the AI tags the sponsor correctly
    • If it works, re-upload the remaining untagged files
