Collection shows empty despite media are inside

❓ Issue/Question

• My colleague sees some folders, for example "media day" with 300 or more photos, and I don't see them.
• I have created collections and sub-collections. However, my colleague cannot see them, meaning that the folders appear empty to her.
• I have archived a full season to this parent folder - but now some users cannot see all the collections.
• I can see 37 collections, a colleague can only see 4 collections. They had access to all the images, and all the collections before I moved them last Monday.
• Some users are not able to see all the collections despite having the correct permissions.

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Workaround:
  • Open the “falsely empty” collection via the Collection Management view
  • Move the media to the same collection.

🥚 Cause

• Despite the collections have media inside, they can only be seen with the "show empty collection" option enabled. The collections didn't get indexed properly.
