How does the "Exclude Tags" field in a user's settings work?

In order for you to edit tag restrictions on users of the platform, the Users > Can edit users permission should be enabled on your account.

  • How does the "Exclude Tags" field in a user's settings work?
  • I am checking a user's settings and would like to set the tags the user cannot access. What does the Exclude Tags field do?

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • The Exclude Tags field lets you remove specific content from a user's view.  The user won't have access to files associated with the tags added in the Exclude Tags field.

 

  • For example, if you add Training tag to the user's exclude tags list, the user won't be able to access media that has the Training tag added
