How to share clips to Social Media?

In order for you to publish short clips, the Social Media > Can view page permission should be enabled on your account. 

If you don't see it, reach out to your admin or refer to the Account Type Permissions Overview article for more information.

  • How do you link our social platforms to share clips directly to our channels instead of downloading and then posting?

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Verify social media destinations are configured in Distribution > Social Media
  • If you wish to add/link social media destinations to your organization, follow this guide:
  • Open the media/clip you'd like to publish and select Publish > Share To Social Media

  • Input information on the Default fields (e.g., Title, Message), set your Settings ( e.g., branding presets, geoblocking, save to Media library options), and Custom fields (if you want different titles/messages for each platform)

  • Select Share to socials
  • You'll see notifications about the clip creation and when it's posted

 

🔖 Notes 

  • If you are publishing clips that are longer than 3 minutes to YouTube, you will need to send the clips from your Media Library using the YouTube integration instead
