❓ Issue/Question

  • No player is found when searching for the "Player" tag
  • The player or tag is known to exist and is visible to other users but searching for his tag returns no results.

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Disable auto-translation for ScorePlay in Chrome.

 

🥚 Cause

  • The browser's built-in page translation (most commonly Google Chrome) rewrites the page text on the fly. Because search matches against that text, the translated version no longer matches the underlying data, so results come back empty.
