FTP media were not deleted after publishing

❓ Issue/Question

• I noticed that the FTP folder still contains older media despite we selected the “delete files in ftp after publishing” option.
• FTP folder still contains the media after they were published and deleted automatically.

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Sometimes, when moving a large volume of photos from FTP to a collection and selecting “delete files in FTP after publishing” the operation can time out and fail to complete properly. 
• For this reason, we suggest to handle large batches in two steps:
  • Workaround: 
    • Publish the files from FTP to the collection. 
    • Delete the remaining files from FTP.
