❓ Issue/Question

  • I created a new folder (collection) in Cyberduck and tried to upload one of the videos and got this message
  • The upload fails with the error The bucket does not allow ACLs

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • In Cyberduck, go to Cyberduck > Edit > Preferences > S3
  • Set Default ACL to None
  • Upload the file again

 

🥚 Cause

  • By default, Cyberduck attaches access permissions (an ACL) to every file it uploads. The ScorePlay storage bucket doesn't accept per-file permissions, so it rejects the upload
