👌 Resolution/Answer

• ScorePlay removes duplicate media within the same collection with two checks that work together:
  • File hash in the same collection (default)
    • How deduplication works using File Hashes
  • Filename in the same collection (optional)

• Media that gets deduplicated:
  • Same media with the same filename: same hash
  • Same media with a different filename: same hash
  • Edited media with the same filename: same filename
• Media that doesn’t get deduplicated:
  • Edited media with a different filename: different hash and different name
