Overwriting users permissions with external group rules

• External group
• Users
• Media
• Correct tag restrictions of the user
• Correct account type access

❓ Issue/Question

• I need to add the access to all media of team X to the users of external group “Y”. Can you please help me? I've tried adding teams tag to the external group settings, but it didn't work for my test account (I couldn't see the media).

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Go to Configure > Users and find the user.
• Click Edit button
• Re-add the user to the external group
• Click Update User

🥚 Cause 

• Sometimes individual user permissions are in conflict with external group rules. Updating the user overwrites the users permissions to match the ones from “external group”.
