Can live ingest appear in the media library?

In order for you to view live streams in the media library, the Media Library > Can view page and Media Library > Can view live media permissions must be enabled on your account, while to access a live stream from the Live section, the Live > Can view page and Live > Can view streaming permissions must be enabled.

👌 Resolution/Answer

Live content can appear and be accessed directly from the Media Library, rather than only through the Live section. Allowing users to manage and work with live content, such as creating clips, directly within the Media Library.
When scheduling a live ingest in the scheduler, you can select which account types have access. Access can also be adjusted later at the account type level within the Media Library, without giving users access to the entire Live section.
This allows the Live section to remain focused on live stream management, including receiver setup, scheduling, and monitoring stream health.

A live will only appear in the Media Library if it is attached to a collection. This is typically done when scheduling the live, but a collection can also be assigned later.
