👌 Resolution/Answer
Here's how you can check where your files are downloading to in Chrome (same steps for both Windows and Mac, since it's the same browser):
- Open Chrome and go to chrome://settings/downloads (or click
…in the top right →Settings → Downloads). - There you'll see the
Locationfield, which shows the exact folder where your files are being saved. - You can also press Ctrl+J (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+J (Mac) to open your download history directly in Chrome. This will show every file you've downloaded recently, and you can click
Show in foldernext to a file to jump straight to it.
