❓ Issue/Question
- How can I upload multiple versions of a media?
- Is there a way to stack versions on ScorePlay at this time? like a V1 V2 V3 of a video edit.
👌 Resolution/Answer
Option 1: Upload a version directly
- Open the media you want to use as the parent, meaning the media that the new versions will be uploaded under.
- Click
Versionsin the right sidebar. This opens the Versions section, which already shows one version: the original media, set as the default.
- Click
Upload new version. A window will open asking you to name the new version and upload the file using theAdd +button. - Once you've entered the name and selected the file, click
Uploadto confirm.

Option 2: Group existing media
- In the media library, select the media files you want to group.
- Click
Groupin the right-side menu. This opens a window showing all the selected media, with a toggle next to each one to choose which media will be the parent (the one that will hold the versions), and a field to name each version.
- Select one media as the parent and enter a name for each of the remaining versions.
- Click Confirm. The selected media will now be added as versions under the parent media.
🔖 Notes
- The
Set as default versiontoggle is off by default in the first option. Turning it on makes that version the default, meaning it's the one that displays whenever the media is opened from the media library. - You can switch between versions, view all existing versions, and change the default version at any time from the Versions section.
