❓ Issue/Question
- I moved or deleted a file from my local storage after uploading it to ScorePlay. Is that file now lost from ScorePlay as well?
👌 Resolution/Answer
- When a file is uploaded to ScorePlay through the web uploader, ScorePlay stores its own independent copy of that file on its servers.
- If a file was originally uploaded via the web and only afterward copied to your local storage, deleting or moving that local copy does not affect the copy stored in ScorePlay. The original file remains safely available and can still be found and downloaded from the Files tab on that media's detail page. If you're ever unsure whether a specific file was uploaded via the web, our support team can confirm this for you.
