❓ Issue/Question

  • We are getting this issue “AccessDenied” when trying to download clips from a live stream.
  • We get an error when trying to download clips from a live stream. The download fails and an AccessDenied error is returned instead of the file.

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Create the clip from the live stream as usual.
  • Select Publish and save the clip to the Media Library.
  • Open the clip in the Media Library and download it from there.

 

🔖 Notes 

  • This is a temporary workaround. The direct download from Live has been escalated to the engineering team for a permanent fix.
