❓ Issue/Question

  • How to schedule my live ingest using csv?
  • I have a lot of live ingests to schedule for an upcoming event — can I create them all at once instead of one by one?

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Download the CSV template
    • Go to Live > Schedule
    • Click the (3 dots) at the right of the filter bar and select Bulk import
    • In the Bulk create schedule window, click this model to download the template
  • Fill in one row per live ingest, keeping the header row exactly as downloaded
    • START DATE and END DATEDD/MM/YYYY, in the future
    • START TIME and END TIMEhh:mm in UTC, not your local time
    • SCOREPLAY RECEIVER ID — the number in the ID column of Live > Receiver PUSH or Live > Receiver PULL
    • RECEIVER GROUP ID — fill this instead of a receiver ID to use a receiver group
    • PULL URL — the SRT, RTMP or HLS URL, for a pull ingest with no saved pull receiver
    • RECORDING NAME — the name shown in the File name column
    • SAVE TO MEDIA LIBRARYYes or No
    • COLLECTION ID — mandatory when saving to the media library; open the collection and copy the number at the end of its URL
    • AVAILABLE ACCOUNTS — account type names, comma-separated; leave empty for all account types
    • TAGS — tag names, comma-separated, spelled as they appear in Configure > Taxonomy & labels
    • LIVE PRESET — the preset name, or empty to generate 1080p and 720p proxies only
  • Import the file
    • Save the file as .csv
    • Reopen Live > Schedule > … > Bulk import
    • Click Add, select your file, then click Import
    • The new ingests appear in the Schedule tab with the status SCHEDULED, showing both UTC and your local time
