What is Live mode / FTP?

Live is a specialized feature in ScorePlay designed for photographers at live events. It enables them to upload content in real time directly from the field to the ScorePlay platform using FTP (File Transfer Protocol). This ensures photos are available almost immediately after capture, dramatically improving the speed and accessibility of content for social media teams and other stakeholders.

Key features/benefits of ScorePlay’s FTP / Live mode feature:
- FTP Integration: Live Mode uses FTP for seamless file uploads from the photographer's camera to ScorePlay
- Real-time Transfer: Photos can be sent directly from the camera while shooting
- Separate Storage: Content initially lands in the Live Mode section, separate from the main media library
- Publishing Option: Media can later be published from Live Mode to the main media library, where it will be processed by AI tagging
