In order for you to create FTP sub-folders/FTP sub-domains to your FTP on ScorePlay, the Live > Can view FTP permission should be enabled on your account.

If you don't see it, reach out to your admin or refer to the Account Type Permissions Overview article for more information.

❓ Issue/Question

  • How can I add subdomains inside the FTP folder?
  • I want to create a sub-path or a sub-folder of the FTP server. How do I do it?

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Go to Live
  • Click the Media from FTP tab

  • Click Upload In the top right corner
  • Select Create FTP Path
  • Select New FTP+
  • Input your preferred FTP name and select region
    • Using dashes or underscores instead of spaces will minimize the risk of an issue.
  • Click on Confirm & copy

  • You can switch to different accounts under the Account filter

🔖 Notes

  • When communicating the sub-path with photographers, they should add the sub-path at the end of the server path, so it would be: eu-ftp.scoreplay.io/subpath name
  • Photos in the Media from FTP section can also be filtered by Keywords in case the photographers edit the IPTC metadata field on the photos before sending them to the server.
