Clips created from a livestream redirect a an ongoing live feed

❓ Issue/Question

  • Clips I created appear in Media Library but 6 files do not work, meaning they go into Live section when I click on them
  • Clips created from ongoing livestream redirect to the livestream, instead of the clip previously selected

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • When creating clips set the Timecode out to timecode earlier then now, rather then keeping it Live

 

🥚 Cause

  • Clips have a Timecode out set to Live, meaning the clip starts from Timecode in until the end of the live stream. Since live is still ongoing, the user is redirected to it.
  • Checking the ongoing livestream should show Saved media tab + metadata associated.
