I can't select a collection during upload despite having the permissions

I'm trying to upload a file, but when I select a collection from the upload page (i.e., Day 1 Ljubljana 2026), it doesn't stay selected.

To select a collection when uploading media, the Media library > Can view collections permissions should be enabled. Otherwise, the platform can show the collections dropdown when you try to upload, but it won’t allow you to select a collection and proceed with the upload
If you are a non-admin user, please reach out to your platform admin to have the relevant permission enabled
If you have the relevant permissions enabled but still cannot select a collection when uploading, try accessing the upload page using the incognito mode of your browser

Browsers' cache can sometimes interfere with the platform's functionality. Clearing the cache could help resolve the issue
