Sponsors cannot see media in external groups

In order for you to add tags to your media in bulk, the External groups > Can edit & Can view page permissions should be enabled on your account.

❓ Issue/Question

  • Some of the users cannot see some of the media in the external group
  • User cannot see any media in the external group

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Go to the external group and open the Users tab.
  • Click Edit on the affected user.

  • Check the Tag Access section, if the user has specific tags set here, they are overriding the group rules.

  • Either remove the individual tag access entirely so the user inherits the group rules, or add the missing tags to match what the group already has access to.
