👌 Resolution/Answer

Navigate to
Configure>Users. - Locate the user you want to update.

Click the
Editicon (pencil icon) next to the user.

Verify that the user's account type matches the account type of the external group you want to assign.

Navigate to
Distribution>External Groups. -
Review the
Account Typeassociated with that external group, as the user's account type must match before the group can be selected.

Navigate to

- If the account type does not match, update it to the appropriate account type.

Below the
Account Typefield, locate theExternal Groupdropdown menu. - Select the desired external group from the list

Click
Update Userto save the changes.

🔖 Notes
- Only external groups associated with the selected account type will be available in the External Group dropdown.
- If the desired external group is not visible, verify that the correct account type has been selected.
