User cannot access the portal and the web platform at the same time

❓ Issue/Question

• I have the permissions turned on, but the upload section isn't showing up when I give access to the portal
• Admin is trying to set up a user to have access to both a portal and web platform functionalities (like upload).

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Workaround:
  • Create 2 accounts for 1 users (one with the access to the portal, second with the access to the web platform functions).
    • How to create new users via a Sign-up Link? 

🥚 Cause

• It's a known behavior of the platform. Users that have access to at least 1 portal will lose access to all of the web platform functions. One user account can have access to one or the other.
