- Why can't I select a new season for my team, even after adding it to the Season tag group?
- I added a new season tag (e.g. 26/27) to the tag group, but it's not showing up as an option when editing my team's season.
👌 Resolution/Answer
- To fix this, you need to create the Season directly as a Season (not as a tag). When a Season is created this way, it automatically generates its own tag, which will then be available and get applied automatically going forward.
🥚 Cause
- This happens because tags and Seasons are two separate things in the platform. Adding a season value (e.g., "26/27") to the Season tag group only creates it as a regular tag, not as an actual Season, so it won't show up in the Season dropdown when creating or editing a team.
