In order for you to clip and reframe videos using ScorePlay's clipping tool editor, the Media library > Can clip video Permission should be enabled on your account.

👌 Resolution/Answer
- Open the video file you'd like to reframe
- Click the
Clipbutton to enter the clipping interface.- If you want to keep the entire file, select the full clip on your timeline. Otherwise, you can select just the segment you want to reframe.
- Once you have your selection on the timeline, go to the
Reframeoption and choose your target aspect ratio (e.g.,vertical 9:16). - You will see two adjustable settings :
- Fluidity — controls the smoothness of the reframing motion
- Effect — adjusts the visual transition effect
- Note: In most cases, the default fluidity and effect values produce a good result. Only adjust if you want finer control over the motion smoothness of the reframing process. A playback rate of 2× is recommended to speed things up — though you can go slower if you need more precision.
- Press
Record. A countdown from 3 to 1 will appear, and the video will begin playing. During playback, keep the athlete (or subject) centered in the frame by guiding the reframe window. The recording tracks your adjustments in real time.
- When you are happy with the result, click
Downloadto save the file to your device. You will be presented with quality options:- Original — full resolution in MXF format (not ideal for direct social media use)

Full HD — recommended for social media-ready output
- For social media, Full HD is typically the best choice. You also have the option to rename the file before downloading — for example, adding
- HD / Proxy — lighter weight option
- Optionally, you can toggle on
Save clip to media libraryto save the clip to your media library
- The download will take approximately 1–2 minutes, depending on clip length. Once complete, the file downloads to your computer and is ready for use
