Upload link shows account types selected when none are toggled on

ย

โ“ Issue/Question

  • Is there a way when creating an external upload link to make it for admins only to see the content when it's been uploaded
  • The account types dropdown shows 2 account types even when no account type is toggled on, and Admin isn't in the list

ย

๐Ÿ‘Œ Resolution/Answer

  • Clear the extra account types from the label
    • Go to Configure > Taxonomy > Labels
    • Find the label whose account type count is higher than the account types ticked in its dropdown
    • Click Edit (pencil icon) on that label
    • Remove every account type from Associated permissions and click Update
    • Click Edit again, add the account types back and click Update
  • Make the upload link visible to admins only
    • In the account types dropdown, turn off every account type
    • Click outside the dropdown
    • The link defaults to Admin, so only admins can see the uploaded media
  • Labels Access
    • If you can't access Labels, please contact your platform administrator and ask them to enable the Taxonomy & Labels > Can view page permission for your account
    • If you're unsure who your platform administrator is, please reach out to the ScorePlay Support team via Live Chat

ย

๐Ÿฅš Cause

  • Account types that were deleted stay associated with the labels they were on, and still count towards the label's account types

ย

๐Ÿ”– Notes

  • Admin isn't listed or counted in account type dropdowns, because admins can always see all media
