How to change the expiration date of a fan contest?

In order for you to edit a fan contest, the Content request > Can edit permission must be enabled on your account.

❓ Issue/Question

  • How do I change the expiration date of a fan contest, or reopen one that has already expired?
  • I want to extend a contest that has already expired

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Open the contest
    • Go to Distribution > Fans > Contests and click the contest
  • Change the expiration
    • Click Edit at the top right of the contest page
    • In the Expiration field, click the calendar icon and pick the new date and time, or type it in the field
    • Click Update
  • Under the contest name, the page now shows Running until with the new date
