YouTube integration returns an invalid syntax error

๐Ÿ’ป Environment/Context

  • Integrations
  • Social media

ย

โ“ Issue/Question

  • I keep getting a syntax error
  • After I sign in on Google and it says I have access, I see {"message":"strconv.ParseUint: parsing \"{X}\": invalid syntax"}

ย

๐Ÿ‘Œ Resolution/Answer

  • Fix the OAuth link
    • Open the OAuth link with your company ID in place of {company_id}, with no brackets: https://media.scoreplay.io/oauth/yt?company_id=123
    • If you don't know your company ID, ask the ScorePlay Support team via the Live Chat
    • On the SSO page, select the Google account you use for YouTube, not your ScorePlay email
    • Allow full access so the integration works

ย

๐Ÿฅš Cause

  • The company ID was entered with its curly brackets (e.g. {123}), or the {company_id} placeholder was left in the link, so ScorePlay can't read it as a number
