Can I hide the side bar when a user opens a media?

• They want to watch the video without the side commands you get when opening a media; can the side bar be hidden for the X account type?
• You want a clean, player-only view of a media for a group of users

👌 Resolution/Answer

• The side bar cannot be hidden per media
  • The panel reflects the account type permissions, so removing actions such as download or share trims its content but does not remove the whole panel itself
• Use an external shareable link for a player-only view
  • Create the link on the media with download disabled and no expiry; the recipient sees only the player

• An external link can be forwarded outside the organization; a password reduces that risk without removing it, so for internal-only content prefer account type and tag permissions instead
