❓ Issue/Question

  • Can I import a live ingest from ScorePlay into Adobe Premiere Pro?
  • Can I create clips from an ongoing live stream in Adobe Premiere Pro?
  • How can I find live recordings in Adobe Premiere Pro?

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • To work with ongoing live ingests or previously recorded live streams in Adobe Premiere Pro, open the ScorePlay panel.
    • Window > Extensions > Scoreplay
  • Open the hamburger menu on the left side of the panel to view all available sections.
  • Select Live Streaming.
    • If the Live Streaming module is not available, you may not have the required permissions. Please contact your platform administrator or ScorePlay Support for more information.

  • Once inside the Live Streaming section, you will see all available receivers displayed as cards.
    • Active live feeds will display a Live badge.

  • Select a receiver to open its details page.
    • For recorded streams, you will see the stream start and end times.
    • For live ingests, you will see the start time and a Live badge indicating the stream is currently active.

  • Select the live stream you want to create a clip from.
  • The clip editor will open, similar to the clip editor available in the ScorePlay platform.

  • Adjust the clip range as needed.
  • Once the clip is ready, choose how you would like to use it:
    • Import Clip to add it directly to the Premiere Pro Project panel.
    • Add to cart to access it later from the ScorePlay platform or from the panel.

🔖 Notes

  • Any logs created in the live ingest will also appear in the platform.
  • When adding to the cart from the Adobe panel, it will also show in your platform.
  • The stream list does not refresh automatically. Click Refresh to see newly started streams.
  • Clip quality options depend on the available stream qualities (720p, 1080p, or Original). If a stream does not have these options available, the quality selection will not work.
