Live stream is not working

❓ Issue/Question

  • Our live stream is not starting
  • Our live stream just shows Waiting to detect video feed
  • Our live stream does not have audio

 

👌 Resolution/Answer

  • Check the schedule date
    • Go to Live > Schedule
    • Check that the schedule is set for today. If it isn't, reschedule it with the steps below
      • Use the Date filter to find it faster
  • Reschedule the stream
    • Click the ⋯ button next to the schedule and select Mark as done
    • Click the ⋯ button again and select Duplicate
    • Set the start time of the new schedule to at least 1 minute from now
    • Click Create
    • Go to the Streams tab and check that the stream changes to Live once the signal is pushed
  • If the new stream doesn't go live
    • Check that the receiver URL in the schedule matches the one set on the encoder
    • Repeat the steps above with a different receiver
    • Go to the PUSH Receiver tab and click the Copy icon next to the receiver you're using
    • Share the new receiver endpoint with your broadcaster or encoder and ask them to push the signal again
