Overwriting users permissions with external group rules

❓ Issue/Question

• I need to add the access to all media of team X to the users of external group Y. Can you please help me? I've tried adding teams tag to the external group settings, but it didn't work for my test account (I couldn't see the media)

👌 Resolution/Answer

• Go to Configure > Users and find the user
• Click Edit
• Add the user to the external group again
• Click Update User

🥚 Cause

• The user's own permissions can conflict with the external group rules
• Updating the user overwrites their permissions with the external group rules
