How to see what other account types see? (View as)

• Is there a way for me to see what a specific user sees?

👌 Resolution/Answer

• For external groups
  • Go to Distribution > External groups
  • Find the external group and click on it
  • Go to the Media tab
  • The media listed there are the media visible to that group
• For all other account types
  • Go to Media Library and click Advanced Search at the top right
    
  • Select the account type you're looking for
• Check with a test account
  • Create a test user with a different email address
  • Assign it the account type you want to check
  • To check another account type, change the test user's account type and review the media again

🔖 Notes

• The View as option only reflects the media a user can access through their account type across all external groups
• It doesn't take into account the tag-based permissions set on each external group
